I grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communications and Sociology from the University of Miami in 1993 and earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida International University in 1995. I became licensed in 1998. I am a qualified supervisor for those seeking Florida licensure. In addition, I am a certified master forensic social worker.

I have more than 25 years of clinical experience in a variety of areas. I have worked as a therapist in Miami Dade County, and Palm Beach County. I have served as a lead social worker at the Easter Seal Society of Miami Dade County for four years serving families with children and adolescents with special needs. When I moved to Palm Beach County in 1999, I became the program director for a Therapeutic Day Treatment Center working with children and adolescents with social, emotional and family issues. For over 10 years from 2000-2010, I provided individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults on a per diem basis through the Jewish Family and Children’s Services in West Palm Beach, Florida. I also facilitated a group for 8 years at the Jupiter Medical Center serving children and adolescents that had a loved one with cancer. I began my private practice in 2009 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I see clients that are dealing with but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder/ Hyperactivity, sexual abuse, school/work related issues, relationship issues, gender /gay and lesbian issues, peer pressure, bullying, parenting issues, marriage/separation and divorce, grief and loss, medical issues, alcohol/substance abuse and overall life stressors.

My specialties are working with adolescents and adults. In addition, I provide parent-child therapy, meaning I work with the parents giving them tools to use with their children, family therapy and marital therapy. I offer individual face to face therapy, home visits, telephone counseling, and online via Skype.
